Show and Tell Friday!

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  This week I'm sharing some of my chintz collection!

Most of these I got for a steal...like these salt and pepper shakers below, they were only $8 at a flea market!

My mom passed down a teacup and saucer to me that she bought in the 40s.  That's what started my collection.  I was thrilled when I found one just like it on eBay for $6!

I booked our trip to Southern California finally and we are going to stay in the hotel I showed you last week. I can hardly wait! It's not until mid July so I have awhile!

If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden.  If you would like to join in, please enter your name and leave your exact Show and Tell blog post link, not just your blog link and as a common courtesy link back to my blog.

Thanks to all of you that join in every week!

Cindy ~ I am crazy about your chintz! I don't have any, but I sure would like to start collecting some. However, when it starts coming into the house, you will surely see my husband's eyes start rolling! I am excited for your holiday. Thanks for hosting!!

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

Cindy:

It was ages ago that you first showed your darling cabinet filled with chintz. That's when I fell seriously in love with your blog! I've followed you through the ups and down, the loss of your Mom, the loss of your job, not having time to blog, etc. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog.

I have not been to your site for awhile and cannot believe I missed the chance to win one of the French angels...they would have been a perfect 60th anniversary gift (anniversary is in Sept.)

I have some pieces of chinz and most were a gift from a friend that I had helped many years ago.
She died this past month. May God rest her soul.

My chinz includes teacups, saucers, a tiny teapot, cream and sugar. I also absolutley pink/red transferware as well.

I now have your site coming to me by email as I do so enjoy it and Romantic is in my heart and soul.

Joyfully,
~Sylvia Faye

What a wonderful collection. Good choice of color. It is really unique. If you continue to collect like that, your house become full of color.
